What is earth hour?

Yesterday when I am chatting with a few of my friends, they told me that earth hour is coming soon. At this point of time, I am very confused. What is earth hour? This is the first time in my life I have ever heard of this word.

When I ask them, they do not give me a reply. When I ask one of my friend, he replied, "It means the earth's hour, you stupid!". I guess this friend is the much stupidier ones giving me such a stupid answer.

My australian friends and my malaysian friends seems to be all talking about this earth hour thing, so I guess it is something international. Since it is international, why I did not heard of it at all in my own country?

At first I thought it is omething terrible, like maybe the whole world's electricity have to be cut off. Or maybe it is some phenomenon, like for example the eclipse moon or the leap years. Or maybe it is something which is going to do with saving the world, saving the earth.

What exactly is earth hour? Can anyone tell me?

A careless experience

Today, I woke up at afternoon, because I overslept. But actually there is also nothing important for me to do either, so I am able to wake up late.



After I woke up and had breakfast, I have to buy lunch myself, so I went out to buy lunch. Just as I am about to go out, my brother is going out with his friends too, so we go out together.



I go to buy lunch nearby, and when I go back home, then I realised one thing. When I go out, I am using my brother's keys, and I do not have my own keys at all. My house also do not have anyone at home.



I keep waiting outside the door for my mother to return. As I am waiting, I suddenly recalled my mother said that I have a auntie who have our house keys too, so I have to go to my auntie's house to get the keys for my house, so I am able to go inside the house.



It is quite a long way, but I have no choice. It takes me 30 minutes to reach there. After I reached, I thought she i not at home. I keep calling, and finally she came out.



She is going to prepare for work at that time. My auntie lives alone. She give me the keys to my home, and she also give me some drinks.


She wanted me to stay at her house a little longer to rest. She told me that she wants to wash her clothes. She told me that I could rest at her house until she is about to go out to work.


So I waited for her. She give me a lot of soft drinks and she wanted me to bring it home. She also give me some money and want me to take transport home.


At 2.30pm, we go out together to the bus stop. We take the same bus, except different destination. My bus is 2 stops, and her bus is 3 stops.

It is very unfortunate for not bringing out the keys.

At night, I watched a show called forbidden siren. I did not watch the first half part, but I only watch the last half part. The main character girl is very pretty.

Because I did not watch the first half part, therefore it is very confusing when I watch it. It is about this girl who can hear a siren where no one else heard it. The legend says that when the third siren sounds, no one step out of their house. When the forth siren sounds, everybody shall die.

Every single villagers thinks that she is having a mental problem, as no one hears the siren at all.

There is once a incident in 1978 on the same island. It is said that the whole villagers died. The only survivor killed himself. Before the last survivor dies, he make the statement that he hears the siren. He said when the third siren sounds, no one step out of their house. When the forth siren sounds, everybody shall die.

As the siren sounds, there are a lot of ghosts beginning to wander about too. The main character escaped into a house and is being encountered by a man, who said that the only way to stop ghosts from wandering about is to stop the siren.

Then she came by to another house, and she realised that her father lived in the house. She decided to explore the house, and then she suddenly found some photos which is being pasted on a board, which shocks her.

She saw every single villagers' photos. All the photos are being taken in 1978. But all the faces in the photo are all the people who lives in the village currently. In the article, it is said that every single villagers are already dead. All those photos are actually every single people in the village who she meets currently, and are still living.

She feel very frighten after that, and she thinks that every single villagers who are currently living in this village are all already dead, and she is living in the village of the deads.

It is then she decided to get out of the village. She and her brother keep running, and keep hiding from those ghost villagers. Until she came to the siren tower, and she decided to destroy the speaker of the siren.

She climbed up of the tower, and she is shock at a scene. She saw very far away, the sea turns red. She breaks the speaker, but the siren still sounds. Then a man climb up and he said that only she herself can hear the siren, and throughout the whole story, she is always with her brother, and he also told her that her brother is actually dead 6 months ago. Seeing that she is unable to stop the siren, and also depressed that her brother is actually dead, she jumps down of the tower.

She is not dead after she fell down of great height. Suddenly she hears the forth siren. She ended up killing the villagers, and history repeats itself.

The story follows a young lady named Yuki, and her father, who is a writer, as they move to Yamajima Island with her younger brother Hideo. The island has a stranger history (like the fact that it was an American burial ground before the war), and a large metal tower can be seen standing on its highest peak.

On arrival, she finds the residents of the quiet rural setting to be slightly bizarre. She is even more perplexed when a neighbour offers her advice about the rules of the island. One warning that all the locals rigidly obey is: NEVER go outside when the air-raid sirens are sounding!

The villagers seem to be hiding something, and Yuki begins to suspect it. One day, Hideo runs away from her, and she chases after him. She stumbles upon Hideo with a mysterious girl wrapped in red shrouds that talks to him and tells him strange stories. Unfortunately, this girl disappears whenever Yuki tries to speak with her.

After some more strange encounters and intensive research, Yuki discovers a piece of folklore from long ago, stating that victims of a terrible disease were once isolated on Yamajima. The story goes that the flesh of a mermaid could bring ever-lasting life, a cure to the disease. They reportedly captured a mermaid and ate it. Before the mermaid died, it let out a terrible scream (the Siren), and cursed the island.

Yuki's father unfortunately turns into a hideous monster called a "Shibito", So Yuki and Hideo try their best to get off the island. But there is no way to escape. Their only choice is to climb the forbidden metal tower at the center of the island. Once there, the plot takes a full twist and we discover that the siren has been in Yuki's head the whole time. The Shibito are really just the ordinary islanders and Hideo has been dead for many years.

When she finally realizes this, she jumps off the tower and tries to commit suicide. Somehow she survives and becomes hospitalized. Outside her room, we hear the doctor speaking with her father. He explains to him that she has imagined the whole experience, such as the previous man did. Yuki awakens to the sound of the fourth siren and she kills her doctor. As the movie ends, the skies turn black and seas become blood red once again.

Many things are left unclear throughout the film due to the complex nature of the plot, the fact that what Yuki is seeing may or may not be real. It may be that Yuki's already unstable mind is merely influenced by the fairy tales and the diary that she comes across. Also, the role of the hidden room in Yuki's home is also left undecided, as it is unknown whether any of the images inside (those dating the islanders back to 1976) are actually factual. Likewise, the role of the woman in red is not made explicit but it is assumed that she is the spirit of the mermaid that died long ago due to her likeness to the girl in the painting. It is suggested by the doctor in the final scene that the siren is only heard by those "conditioned" to hear it and that there may indeed be some supernatural force behind the events.

One explanation of the whole plot is that the inhabitants or the villagers of the island did capture a mermaid and ate it in search of immortality. They succeeded in achieving immortality which explains the photos in the hidden room. The woman in red is likely to be the mermaid seeking revenge on the inhabitants through her curse. The curse is the result of the only person hearing the sirens and will end up killing the inhabitants who had achieved immortality. The cycle is presumed to be continued until everyone shown in the hidden room is killed.

Nocturnal neigbours playing piano

I am really got irritated by my stupid nocturnal neighbours, doing all sorts of funny stuffs in the middle of the night.

In the previous posts I talk about those chantings made by my neighbours. Now, there is new sounds. This time is not chanting, but it is piano. Moreover, it is 2.30am in the midnight.

My neighbours are all very disappointing, and they all seems to be very happy to be doing all sort of noisy stuffs in the middle of the night.

I really hope that some other neighbours would go and complain about it. I do not wish to go complain about it as others will said that I am busybody, and if I went to complain about it, maybe it will also affect the way other neighbours look at us. So most of the time it is better that we just bear with it, and wait for others to do the job.

Schoolmates, classmates, school life

Today, in the afternoon, one my ex-schoolmates actually contact me. He wants me to go to cycle with the rest of other schoolmates, and he is treating us all for everything. Of course I am very happy for free stuffs, but I rejected him. The reason is because most of my ex-schoolmates are my enemies.

I am always a nice person to treat them good. I did not do anything sorry to them. But they do not remember all the things I have done for them, and they forget me as a friend. All o them gang up to be against me.

After thia incident, I do not wish to see them anymore. After being friends for so many years, this is what I get from them. This is very unfair.

Recently my life is very boring. There is nothing to talk about, so I do not do much posts. Although I have strange neighbours, but they do not chant every single day. I can even write up to part 100 if they chant everyday.

I lost my important data in my computer and now I got very disappointed. I wanted my classmates to send me the data, but they do not send me. Instead, they even said I am irritating.

What kind of classmates are these. When I have trouble, they do not even help me. When they have trouble, who is the one who keep lending them a hand. I really feel very unfair in my life.

My school is the only stupid school which needs laptop for lesson. Seriously, I really hate my school. I feel that I do not learn much. The reason is because teacher want us to find data all by ourselves. Not through teaching. If it is really this case, what for do they still hire teachers in this school? It is so unreasonable. I paid school fees, and school fees are not cheap over here in this school. Why cannot we received much better education?

There are also a lot of gangsters in this school I am studying. I really regret coming to this school. But I have no choice.

I really regret coming to this school. But my results are too bad. No other schools are willing to accept me, so I have no choice but to stay in this hell school.

I really feel that life is very unfair. We see others living such a perfect and wonderful life, while I am living in this painful hell-like world.

The Chanting Part 2

In a previous post I talk about chantings that I have heard in my room in the middle of the night, and after that, I had a bad dream.

Last night, a chanting sound is once again heard. This time round, it is not like the previous one, and they do not sound the same. The previous ones that I have heard are more like religion chantings, but for this time, it sounds like a sorcerer saying out magic words.

Last night, just as I am lying on the bed, I suddenly heard this chanting. I tried to concentrate on my ears and trying to listen hard to hear what it is. The chanting keep on going. It sounds like a person talking, but I only hear one person talking, and he did not stop, it is like keep talking alone on and on and keep on talking. He does not sound sometimes loud, sometimes soft, but not the same loudness throughout.

His voice also sounds like monotone. This time round I feel very scared, because it sounds like sorcerer chanting magic words, and this chanting is more like devil religion.

I do not know what my neighbour is up to. Sometimes during midnight, I will hear some wierd noises too, one time I heard a baby crying in the middle of the night, but its voice is very weird. I cannot describe how weird it is, but it is a kind of baby voice that is very weird. That cry and the voice is not ordinary. When it cries, it makes me feel like that cry is made by "something else".

There is also one time, I hear loud breathings in the middle of the night, but I believe that it is possible that someone is having asthma.

Now I started to feel that I have very scary neighbours.

One Nation Under Lee

My friends send me these interesting pics, so I thought of posting them up.

Mr Lee Kuan Yew is a minister of singapore. He has the highest authority in singapore from what I have heard about him.

From what I have heard from my singaporean friends, Mr Lee Kuan Yew takes full control of singapore, and has the highest authority in singapore. His authority is so high that no other opposition party can win him now.

Some people said that he is corrupted because of his love of powers and authority. Whether its true or false, I do not know.

Because of his very high authority. No one can challenge him and oppose him.

The Singing

In my previous posts, I have talked about chantings. Now, there is a new thing that happens. But this time, it is not another chanting soun, but these times are singings. And worst, it is even midnight, and it interrupted me in my sleep. I really have many wonderful and fantastic neighbours.

Last night, as I am going to sleep, I suddenly heard a singing sound. It is rather soft, and it sounds like a high pitch voice, and it is a woman's voice. I am unable to tell what kind of song is that, because I could not hear properly as it is rather soft.

The song seems like it never stop, and the high pitch voice of the sound even makes me shiver. The voice seems to be quite far away, as it sounds very soft.

I feel that my neighbours are really inconsiderate. They loves to make so much noise, and cause so much trouble. This makes me feel very sad living in this apartment.

I wish that everyone can be more considerate living in an apartment, and should be considerate towards each other, as we are all neighbours.
