Inconsiderate people corrupted by greed

Yesterday morning, there is a lady who lives on the opposite block from us. She came at about 10am, and she came to borrow some money from us, and she said that she had an emergency and need to use the money. She also promise us that she will return us the money very soon.

She said that she went out and she left her keys inside the house. She need the money because she said she is going to call someone to break open the door, so that she is able to get into the house.

We see her as a person who could be trusted, as we did see each other sometimes, as we only live nearby, but we are not very close. We are just trying to be a good person, so we borrowed her the money.

After borrowing the money, my father recalls about her, and feel that things are not very right. When she call the person to knock open the door, and she could get into the house to get the money. She could also call her relatives around her and asks for help. Why would she want to borrow money from us? Moreover, we are not very close to each other.

Our predictions were right. After that day, she really did not return back to us anymore. We felt very angry after that incident. She break her own promise. She also break our trust. From now on, I bet that she will be living with guilt for life.

There is another incident, which happens in my school. I remember there is one time, I found my classmate's lost wallet. I wanted to return it to her, but I need to rush to meet a teacher. So I have no other choice but to pass to another classmate to ask him to pass to that classmate. Later that day, my classmate who lost the wallet said that her wallet has lost. At that time, I am very shocked. So I went to ask the person who I pass the wallet to, and ask him whether he had already returned the wallet.

In my surprise, he actually said that I did not pass him any wallet at all. I am very angry after that incident. I went to tell the teacher, but that person keep denying it. I keep insisted that I have passed the wallet to him, and that guy keep insisted that I did not give him any wallet. In the end, both of us became the "suspect".

I really hate all the inconsiderate people who cheated other people's things and other people's feelings. At the same time, they will also lost trust from others, and will be living with guilt in their entire life. I really hope that these people can be more considerate, so that we can trust each other.

One minute's Mistake, One life time's Regret

Few years ago, I used to have a very close friend. We share the same interest, do things together, help each other. Whatever decisions that we had, we will always respect each other's decision, and will not object it. Our friendship is really wonderful, and he is the greatest friend I have ever had in my entire life. But our friendship did not last long.

But unfortunately for now, we have lost contact already, just because of one incident.

I can remember at that time, I am only 12 years old. That is the year I know this friend, and also the year I lost this friend.

The incident happens on the time close to our final year exam. On that day, we went back to school to revise for our final year exam.

After our revision, me, my friend, and my brother went around to play as we are bored after the school revision. Then suddenly, one of my stupid idea had came. We decided to sneak into school to play the school computer. Because at that time, we do not have computer at home, as we are very poor.

After I suggested that idea, we immediately head back to school. We sneak into one of the classrooms, as every classrooms has a computer. We started to on the computer, and started playing the computer over there.

At first we only plan to play it for just a while. But we got too addicted in it, and we even stayed till 5pm, until one of the teachers walked into the classroom and caught us.

We were being brought into the office, and at that time, the principal asks us a lot of questions. At that time, we are very scared. We keep finding a lot of excuses and lies to defend ourselves. Luckily in the end, they decided to let us go.

But after that incident, my friend become very angry about me. From that time onwards, we did not talk to each other anymore. I tried to talk to him and apologize to him, but he still ignored me.

From that day onwards until the day of graduation, we are totally like strangers, and we did not talk to each other.

After graduation, he called me and asks for my result, but at that time, I did not tell him. That is because I fear that he might tell one of my enemy my result, as that enemy keep asking around for my result. So once again, I have lost another hope and another chance for not telling him my result.

After the phone call, that was the last time I have ever heard of his voice. I wanted to regain the friendship, but all was too late.

Type like L

If you have watched the Death Note movie, you will noticed there is one of the character inside called L. In the movie, L behaves strangely. One of his features is that he typed only with 2 fingers, like me.

It is not that I wanted to follow the trend or whatever, but its that I always type with 2 fingers, unless I am holding shift for capital letter or whatever. The reason why I type with 2 fingers is because I realised that I am unable to concentrate very good if I am using a lot of fingers, because until now, I am still unable to memorise every single position of the keys in the keyboard.

Sometimes when I see my friend can type so fast with their 10 fingers on the keyboard, I am really jealous. I tried to learn to type using all my 8 fingers, but I find that it is more difficult to concentrate on every of the 8 fingers. Some people can even type without looking at the keyboard. They are so familiar with all the positions on the keyboard.

They must have learn typing since they are very young. But I am born in a poor family, so of course, I do not have any computer in my house. The current computer we are using is actually can be considered given by our auntie. My auntie won a lottery, and she give part of the money to us, and asks my father to buy a computer for us. If our auntie did not supply us with a money, maybe until now we still do not have a computer. We feel very fortunate to have good relatives around us helping us.

Now as we are grown up, we have more lesser free time. But maybe I will still try to learn to type with all fingers.

Food Wars - Revenge of the Food

Sushi and sashimi

This is a true case of a Japanese man from Gifu prefecture who complains incessantly about a persistent headache.

Mr. Shota Fujiwara loves his sashimi and sushi very much to extent of trying to get them as 'alive and fresh' as can be for his insatiable appetite.

He develops a severe headache for the past 3 years and has put cut off as migraine(migraine means a severe recurring headache) and stress from work.

It was only when he started losing his psychomotor(psychomotor means muscular activity which requires mental process) skills that he seeks medication.

A brain scan and x-ray reveals little however.

But upon closer inspection by a specialist on his scalp, the doctor noticed small movements beneath his skin.

It was then that the doctor did a local anesthetic(anesthetic is a drug that causes reversible local anesthesia and a loss of nociception.) to his scalp and discovered the cause when tiny worms crawled out.

A major surgery was thus immediately called for and the extent of the infestation was horrific.

Always remember, tapeworms and roundworms and their eggs which abound in all fishes fresh or salt fishes can only be killed by thorough cooking and/or freezing the fish between 4 degree C - 0 degree C.

The eggs of these parasites can only be killed if it is cooked or frozen to the said temperatures for a week or more.Think twice about the raw dish next time... Or you might get a headache.

Eating food also has risks. Actually eating food is just like fighting in war. We know that in war, in order to conquer an empire, we first have to kill the leader, and persuade all the citizens in the empire. When all the citizen's mind are at calm and peace, then you are able to rule the empire.

When we are eating food, we first have to kill the animal. Then, we need to cook it so that all the germs and bacteria and worms can be killed, then we are able to put it into our mouth to eat.

When we kill animals to eat, we have to pay a price for killing it. Eating animals is not good after all, so it is still much better to be a vegetarian.

One step behind Technology

There is once when I am talking on msn with one of my singaporean friend. We are talking about several topics. Suddenly, she asks me about my picture. I told her I do not have it. Then she said again, "Don't you have a handphone to take pictures?" I replied back, "I don't have a handphone."

Then she seems very shocked, and she replied back, "oh my god!! Are you living on the 21st century? You are so freaky and scary. Don't talk to me anymore." After she said that, I feel very angry. Is new technology really so important in our life that we cannot live without it? My family is poor, and there are still a lot of things others have, but we do not have. Moreover, I feel that there isn't a need for me to use handphone as I seldom go out with friends, but just mostly staying at home and using the internet.

Technology to me is not really that inportant. We need them just to make our lives more convenient. If we choose to go for a more advanced way of living, more expenses will have to be wasted. Take for example, a handphone, a car. We still have to pay for phone bills for handphone, and for cars, we still have to go to petrol station to pump diesel into our car in order to work. We have to pay extra prices for living in a more advanced technology.

As for me, I just want to live in a simple life. But I will try not to be too left behind in technology.

How to overcome your fear?

There are some people who once had a bad experience about something in life, that leads them into a fear that haunts them forever. It can be anything that causes them into fear. We can run away from all these fear, and we cannot hide from them.

There is few ways to cure the fear. The first way is to let it come to you. If you have watched the Batman Movie, batman used to be very scared of bats when he was young. However, he has a very strong will of trying to overcome his fear. In the end, he managed to overcome it by living together with bats. In chinese, there is a word, "以毒攻毒", which means to use poison to fight against poison. So in order to overcome our fear, we have to face it bravely. If we choose to run away from it, we are actually running away from reality.

So the best way to overcome fear is to face it.
